Making Reasonable Adjustment

Volunteers attended Making Reasonable Adjustment, a development morning for all volunteers looking at how to support young people and adults with additional needs experience high quality Scouting. County Commissioner, Dexter Williams started the morning welcoming the attendees and explaining the broad view of additional needs within the Association.

The Team from the Special Adviser Inclusivity and Diversity Team then delivered three modules on autism, deaf friendly Scouting and working in partnership with parents.

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
