District Lead Volunteer – Shropshire Severn and Teme

Date: 3rd Nov 2023 Author: Eddie Hulme

The search is on for a new volunteer team leader for Shropshire Severn and Teme Scouts!

What is the role?

Are you or do you know someone who ……

  • can inspire and enthuse?
  • applies strategic and creative thinking to a challenge?
  • could build and lead a team of key volunteers?
  • is resourceful and energetic?
  • believes in developing young people and volunteers in your area?

Self-nominations are actively encouraged. Let’s be honest, if you believe you can bring the right skills and expertise to the role and you are enthusiastic and motivated then why not nominate yourself? If you don’t you may miss this rewarding opportunity if you are not nominated by someone else.

You do not have to be involved currently in Scouts, we welcome applicants from outside or new to Scouting.

To nominate others or yourself please email countycommissioner@shropshirescouts.org.uk by Friday 24th November 2023

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
