Can you spare some time?

Looking for an active outdoors lifestyle?

Maybe can help with some admin on a part time basis but want to take part in the adventure?

We are actively looking for adults to volunteer to join our teams across the whole of Shropshire.

Fancy canoeing, sailing, climbing, shooting, archery, hillwalking, hiking, camping … Scouting provides lots of activities, not just for young people but for our adult volunteers. All we ask is that you can help us in some way in delivering our amazing programmes of activities to the young people in our community.

We are looking for adults for all kinds of roles, from inspirational Team Leaders, to someone who can just be there a few hours and help out. You don’t need to be able to tie knots or pitch a tent. Neither do you have to be a Bear Grylls ! We can support you with the most advanced learning available in the voluntary sector.

Why not drop us an email at volunteer@shropshirescouts.org.uk and have a chat with a local volunteer and see if you can help giving our young people stills for life.

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
