AMC Shropshire Scouts Water Sports 25th/26th March

This weekend is aimed at anyone wanting to begin their Kayak/Canoe permit journey and to those wishing to gain CPD while sharing skills and good practice.
While the sessions we run are aimed at taster/beginner level, we will teach more advanced skills if appropriate.

The course will run over 2 days and will be mainly practical on the water learning with some Theory and risk assessment work throughout the weekend.

Equipment can be provided. All you will need is clothes you don’t mind getting wet, including footwear (not crocs, flip flops, or wellies), dry clothes to get changed into and a sense of humour plus, lunch and snacks.
This is a wet session so please be prepared to be in the water quite a bit of the day.
