At the end of November 2024 , when the Compass freeze is lifted , we will be moving over to a new membership system.

Most of the support information is available , in detail, at The Digital Tools pages   https://digitalskills.scouts.org.uk/

or alternatively  at our Volunteer Experience Hub  https://www.scouts.org.uk/volunteers/volunteer-experience/

However we have put in place a GoLive Support Team to help you answer access and local related questions.

• We are incorporating support into our pre-existing teams and support channels
• A central inbox for volunteers to send queries to has been created at email:  golive@shropshirescouts.org.uk
• Page(s) on the County/District website which signpost to support will be made available

We have a trained team of volunteers who will be available to help you log in to the new system and answer basic questions – this will include our Lead Volunteers , Volunteer Development Leader ( CTM ) and Transformation Lead. Most of our team has had early access to test system

All basic enquiries will be dealt with by our Local GoLive Support Team – please send your enquiry to the support mailbox. One of our team will get back to you by email or phone call.

If you have a need for face to face support, this can be arranged through your Group Lead Volunteer , District or County Lead Volunteer , and/or our Volunteer Development Team ( Formerly called the County Training Team ).

However , please take time to read the Members emails sent to every adult volunteer every month by HQ – check your email junk folders if you have not seen them. Lots of key information for you is given in these emails.

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
