Target Shooting SASU

The Shropshire Scouts Target Shooting Scout Active Support Unit can support you in delivering target shooting as a Scout activity in many ways:

Have a Go

You can book the team and the county kit for an evening’s have-a-go session of air rifle shooting in your own HQ.

We can of course tailor the session to meet your needs, including more advanced shooting.

The team will bring all the equipment needed for air rifle shooting.

Sport Crossbow is also available to HQs that can set up an archery range.

Shooting Competitions

The team delivers the Scout County’s own target shooting competition, “Shropshoot” and the Scout Inter-County Air Rifle and Air Pistol shooting competition at the NSRA’s West Midlands range in Aldersley, Wolverhampton.
